Orbital Riveting is a Great Way to Join Materials in Your Process

This process of joining material,  can be very useful in assembly automation. Compared to alternative methods, it is a silent, non-impact and vibration free process.
Machines are available as stand-alone units or modules, that can be designed into automatic stations.

Single spindle units offer the most flexibility, but multi-spindle units, can be very productive.

Part location fixturing can be quite simple, due to the relatively low work forces involved. In some cases a hold down device, can be attached to the head, to clamp parts together, during the forming cycle.

Where cycle times permit, another concept to be considered, is a CNC, single spindle unit. Such machines can be integrated into multi-station, automatic systems.
